Alternatively, you can download the plugin using the download button on this page and then upload the all-in-one-wp-migration folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory then activate throught the Plugins dashboard in WordPress

Migrating a website has never been easier, as in the early days, you either had to do all migration manually by yourself, which requires advanced technical knowledge and a lot of time, or you had to seek the services of a developer to take care of that for you.

So naturally, this plugin makes the process easier and accessible to anybody for free. Other migration plugins have a longer migration process, but with All in One wp migration, it consists of a simple export/import backup to your new destination.

Assuming you have already installed All in One wp migration plugin at your new server, then navigate to wp-content/ai1wm-backups/ directory and upload your file there.

Now that your backup restoration has finished. You have one more thing left to do, which is to update your permalinks settings. Basically you just need to save them again, and your migration process has been successfully completed.

By the way, if you find this too difficult, as a reminder, if you have already purchased a hosting plan with Hostinger, you are eligible to request a free migration from Hostinger support, you can do so by following this short guide: -to-migrate-wordpress

In this case, since you have access to the .wpress file, try to upload it directly to Hostinger through FTP inside the all-in-one wp migration folder located at: wp-content/ai1wm-backups

Thank you very much friends, of the many ways I tried to fail, method 2) Solution #1: All in one wp migration stuck at 100% or less very cool, once again thank you very much, I hope you are always healthy.

Thanks for this, you have just saved a soul here, will definitely share this article with my friends. I have a question, can i update the all in one wp migration? cause am done with the steps and it worked but the plugin is telling me to update it since am using the older version.

I asked hosting support for a help. They transfer it over. After migration I had few errors like: Warning: require(/usr/share/php/wp-stack-cache.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/*****/domains/*mydomain.com/public_html/backup/wp-content/mu-plugins/wp-stack-cache.php on line 31 To fix this I renamed wp-stack-cache.php to wp-stack-cache.php_old and was able to login.

These plugins download and transfer all of your site files, from tables to media files, and themes to your entire database of users. Without a quick migration tool, you may have trouble cloning the website to make it appear and run exactly the same as it did before.

Migration plugins are often culprits because they work with site files. Therefore, you must keep in mind that you may not be able to use all of the migration plugins we talk about below. Check with your host to ensure that your plugins are compatible.

Many of the primary features are included in the free plugin, but you do have the option to upgrade for more functionality. For example, scheduled backups are included with the premium plan, along with cloud storage and email notifications. We also like the multisite migration options. Duplicator Pro has a personal license for $59. This gets you three site licenses. You can also pay more if you need support for more sites.

Migrate Guru has some advantages over the competition when it comes to multisite and the size of your files. The plugin manages to simplify the migration process, even if you have a large multisite network. In addition, sites with a size of up to 200 GB are transferable.

In order for the migration to take place, you need to utilize phpMyAdmin to get that SQL file imported to the right database. These steps ensure that developers have a nice method for moving local and live sites back and forth depending on their own needs.

Upon upgrading, you not only get premium email support but a wide range of features that are essential for pulling databases and syncing media between two sites. Some of our favorite tools include the ability to exclude post types, migrate from a multisite to a single site, and options for pausing and canceling migrations.

Developers are the most likely to use the WP Migrate plugin. The reason for this is because you get far more flexibility when it comes to choosing specific migration items like tables. In addition, you can move a site from pretty much any environment to another. All of this is done with an SQL file download, which is typically a little complicated for beginners.

Automatic backup schedules are possible with UpdraftPlus. This standard backup procedure is provided in the free version. Upgrading to the premium solution offers even more functionality such as incremental backups, duplicates, and quick migrations.

You also receive access to a larger list of cloud storage options like Azure and OneDrive. UpdraftPlus Premium is listed as $70 for two licenses. You can upgrade to 10 licenses for $95 and go up from there. Plugins for things like smoother migrations and multiple storage destinations are sold on the website.

BackupBuddy does have a dedicated migration feature that allows you to change hosts and servers. You can also adjust the domain and replace URLs in one step. Cloning is also provided for developers, along with a tool for pushing or pulling to and from staging sites.

We like BackupBuddy for those who want a full suite of protection, migration, and backup tools. The plugin cuts down on the number of plugins you need for your site and you always know that the site files are protected. In addition, you can move the files whenever needed.

Scheduling is possible with the backups and you can even set them to automatically download the backup. Custom migrations mean that you can adjust settings based on the size of your site and where the files are going.

In addition to the previous features, Super Backup & Clone provides multisite support for backing up multiple network websites and potentially migrating them to other servers. Along with beautiful reports and optimal system performance, the Super Backup & Clone plugin does a great job of streamlining the entire migration process.

Their response: The issue was caused by ModSecurity which blocked the opportunity to use All in one Wp migration on your end. The necessary ModSecurity rules have been whitelisted for your hosting account.

We got migrated to digital ocean and started using cloudpanel.io, but after that, it was hard to migrate our site from Cloudways. Tried All in one wp migration but it is not working at all. At first we thought, the Php version was creating an issue as we have chosen 8.2, then we rolled back to 7.4. Downloaded plugin from another site but not working and we are stuck. Tried duplicator plugin, blogvault, cloudways migrator plugin but nothing is working as of now. Also, in Cloudpanel.io FTP is created where as Cloudways asks for SFTP so the details are also not matching. Do you have any clue how to migrate the site now? We are currently tried Cyberduck (Mac user).

To my surprise downloading the backup from the All-in-One WP Migration plugin only gave me a single compressed migration.wpress file that any unpack tool refused to extract. A little web search brought me to a five year old tool called Wpress-Extractor but the provided binaries for MacOS refused to work because the package was already too old.

Amazing tool! Exactly what I was looking for when trying to migrate a website to a different server. Currently abroad with very slow internet here. Decided to make a DigitalOcean droplet and use its fast connection to download the 5GB migration file directly to the server with curl.

I have already used almost all of the migration plugins mentioned above. Though I used my own developed migration plugin most of the time, if I go with other solutions, then All-in-One WP Migration is my first choice to transfer or migrate the WordPress site.

If you are an advanced user and have hosting access, you can edit the All-in-One WP Migration plugin code from the hosting file manager. To edit All-in-One WP Migration plugin files, you need to go to wp-content => Plugins => all-in-one-wp-migration/constants.php

Compared to OpenVPN 2.3 this is a major update with a large number of new features, improvements and fixes. Some of the major features are AEAD (GCM) cipher and Elliptic Curve DH key exchange support, improved IPv4/IPv6 dual stack support and more seamless connection migration when client's IP address changes (Peer-ID). Also, the new --tls-crypt feature can be used to increase users' connection privacy.
